This website is operated by Adelaide Letterboxes. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Adelaide Letterboxes. Adelaide Letterboxes offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.
Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the website. However, occasionally information may be inaccurate due to changes in product specifications or price.
Some products are shown with other products and accessories which are not included in the advertised price.
If you are using the site on behalf of an entity you represent and declare that you are authorized to act on behalf of that entity, you accept these Terms on behalf of that entity and that entity agrees to indemnify you and Adelaide Letterboxes for its violations of these Terms.
All users need to be 18 years or over.
To use the site to make a purchase, you will need to provide personal details. Upon purchasing, you will need to provide accurate, current and complete information, maintain the security of your details, do not share your details with others and notify Adelaide Letterboxes of any security breaches related to the site.
All content on this site remains the property of M and A Mead Investments Pty Ltd. You are not permitted to copy the photographs, logos, documents or any other material contained on this site.
Adelaide Letterboxes reserves the right to modify or discontinue the site or any features or portions thereof without notice.
Upon completing your order and submitting it through the checkout system, you will be issued with an order reference number via a confirmation email. Your order will only be processed once it has been passed by our internal validation procedures to prevent credit card or payment fraud. We reserve the right to refuse service or supply of the products or to terminate the contract and/or your account at our discretion. If we need to contact you, the details entered at the checkout will be used.
In the instance that you need to cancel or edit your order, this needs to be done before the order being dispatched to not incur additional fees for delivery back to our factory.
Pricing and availability:
All prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD). Most items are manufactured to order and if for any reason, this product is not available immediately, we will contact you. Please be aware some letterboxes can take a substantial amount of time to manufacture. All manufactured items are generally shipped within 24 hours of the order being received.
You agree that all of your transactions with or through the site may be conducted electronically from start to finish unless for some reason this is not possible. If we need to proceed non-electronically, those transactions will still be governed by these Terms.
Delivery, shipping and handling:
When we send a delivery to you as per your instructions, you might incur an extra delivery cost on top of the amount already paid at the checkout. This applies for rural locations, or where the product needs to be lifted by two people to complete the delivery or the need for a forklift. You agree to pay any delivery and handling charges shown on the site when your order is placed. We reserve the right to increase, decrease or eliminate charges from time to time and without prior notice so you agree to check all charges before signing up to purchase any product.
Although dispatch from our factory is generally within 24 hours, the delivery may take up to 10 days from the date the order and payment are received. These delivery times are out of our control as we use an independent freight company. The consignment number for your order will be found on the Tax Invoice which will be emailed to you once the goods have been dispatched. This can be used to track to goods with the appropriate freight company. Alternatively, email email@example.com, including details of your order and consignment number.
Unless otherwise stated, we will deliver the goods to the address supplied at the time of placing the order. Our chosen freight company will generally phone ahead to organize an appropriate time to deliver the goods. Changing delivery address after your order has been dispatched will incur an additional fee of $25.
We currently accept payment via the Shopify Payment gateway. Only valid cards can be used and any refunds will need to be credited to the same credit card used for the purchase. By submitting your order you are declaring you are the authorized user of that card. If any further delivery charges or alterations to the order placed online are required, a member of staff from Adelaide Letterboxes will contact you by phone to discuss directly.
Returns and exchanges:
Adelaide Letterboxes has a 60-day return policy and all returns will incur a 20% restocking fee and a delivery fee from the place of pick up to the Adelaide Letterboxes factory. Alternatively, you may wish to organize your own transport at your own cost, to return the goods. Any refunds will only be given once the goods have been returned, inspected and are deemed to have 1. Not been used, 2. In new condition without any scratches, dents or marks that may occur through transport and use that will require that product to be refurbished in any way, for re-sale. This includes packaging.
Proof of purchase is always required and this includes a corresponding Serial Number.
All items are covered under our Manufacturers Warranty which can be found here. Proof of purchase will be required.
